In 2003 IAODAPCA began assisting the Illinois Association of Extended Care (IAEC) with the administration of the National Certified Recovery Support (NCRS) credential. The application, testing and invoicing for the NCRS credential was routed through the IAODAPCA office but the credential itself belongs to the Association of Halfway House Alcoholism Programs of North America (AHHAP) and is used, with permission, by IAEC.

As of June 1, 2010 IAEC will resume all administrative duties of the NCRS credential.
