Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention and Education which are currently supported through 14 different locations.

We are seeking a Full Time Team Lead - Certified Recovery Support Specialist to join our Drop In Center located at 2938 E 89th St, Chicago, IL 60617.

The work schedule available is: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm; Tuesday & Thursday 10:0 am- 6:00 pm & One Saturday per month 

Responsibilities and Duties

This individual will provide peer support services to clients with mental illnesses. The Team Leader (CRSS) will function as a role model to peers; exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills; serve as a consumer advocate, providing information and peer support for clients in outpatient settings.

Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or GED; 2,000 hours (one year) paid/supervised work experience; Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) certification REQUIRED.
