     New Age Services Corporation

    New Age Services Corporation [NASC] is a community-based behavioral health and human services provider.  New Age Services is committed to empowering individuals & families in the community by providing a comprehensive behavioral health continuum of care through integrated services. Our service area includes North and South Lawndale, Austin, East Garfield, West Garfield and surrounding areas.






    Basic Function           

    Primarily under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Finance and Administration as well as the CEO, provides administrative assistance to supervisors and managers in communicating and executing the organization’s personnel policies and procedures.  Also responsible to implementation of employee engagement efforts and administrative support to the CEO for Board of Directors and agency matters.


    Specific Duties Include:


    Participates in reviewing personnel policies for clarity and effectiveness and makes recommendations to Management regarding administrative implementation of policies.


    Provides administrative support to Management concerning agency compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.


    Provides administrative support for Management decisions regarding appraisal, transfer, promotion, lay-off, recall, demotion, and termination of employees.


    Oversees development and coordination of the orientation program for new employees.


    Compiles documents and maintains all timekeeping data related to regular, full time, part-time, contractual and earnfare employees, consisting of time worked and accrued time off work.


    Maintains and updates all personnel files


    Engages in verification of certification and professional credentials of NASC staff, as needed.


    Researches health and dental benefit vendors and programs and provides recommendations to Management.


    Administers open enrollment for health and dental benefits, and assists staff with insurance and benefit issues.


    Processes all wage deductions orders and wage assignments in a timely manner.


    Schedules and assists with, employee training and workshops for outside programs.




    Reports new employee data to the Illinois Department of Employment Security.


    Processes check requests for health and dental benefit vendors.


    Maintain and track all employee hours worked and process biweekly payroll using ProData payroll system and manage all internal time-off requests.


    Process Bi-weekly Payroll utilizing ProData timekeeping system.


    Coordinates maintenance of telephone equipment.


    Serve as staff liaison for Board of Directors, including preparation of materials for bimonthly Board meetings.  Maintains legal corporate files.


    Provides administrative support to the CEO and Board with review and development of agency policies and procedures.


    Other duties as assigned.





    Education and Experience


    Associates Degree required.

    Strong oral and written communications skills.

    Ability to effectively communicate and work with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.

    Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
