Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education which are currently supported through 15 different locations.
The Drug Free Program provides outpatient level I and II substance abuse treatment to persons who may also experience domestic violence or possess an open DCFS case file, a court mandate, or are employer or self-referred.
We are seeking a highly motivated Drug-Free Supervisor located at 3113 West Cermak Road Chicago, Illinois 60623.
Work Schedule available is Monday- Friday 12:00 pm-8:00 pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
The individual oversees all direct program services, having the day-to-day responsibility for the supervision of the counselors and the participant activities, ensuring compliance with the Drug Free Program. This individual also carries a caseload and participates in the development and implementation of individual service plans as well as established therapeutic and rehabilitative programs.
Qualifications and Skills
Certified Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification required. Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred. Spanish speaking individual is preferred.
