The Women's Treatment Center provides women with multiple health issues including addiction to prescription medications and other illicit substances and their children with a continuum of care, recovery tools, and parenting skills to maintain a sober lifestyle as they rebuild their lives and futures and mend the bonds with their families.
We are one of the few substance abuse programs in the nation that can accommodate children in residential treatment, making us particularly responsive to the needs of chemically dependent mothers.

We are recruiting a Certified (CADC, or Lic), or Provisional Counselor I, for a Detox Unit for women. Duties will group and individual therapy with patients and collateral and milieu management.
The position will be responsible for:
* Providing chemical dependency counseling services to patients and their families/collaterals through assessment and design, implementation, and revision of treatment plan.
* Developing service and continuing care plans; prioritizing problems and planning appropriate methods of addressing problems; incorporates appropriate use of community-based support groups.
* Planning, structuring, and organizing different types of group therapy sessions.
Associates degree in psychology, social work, or related field or equivalent in work or life experience;
CADC Certificate or licensure in addictions counseling preferred.
1-2 years’ experience in substance abuse programs preferred.
Able to transport patients if necessary.
Experience in addictions, dual-diagnosis and or women’s issues preferred.
