    WORK DESCRIPTION:

    Responsible for overall management of program.  Provides direct supervision of Clinical Program Supervisor.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Provide direct clinical supervision and support to Clinical Program Supervisor, and/or staff in reporting program service for which no supervisory staff has been assigned/designated.

    Monitor supervised staff for performance, attendance, and completion/documentation of their reporting staff performance evaluations.

    Provide group clinical supervision.

    Complete supervised staff performance reviews and maintain records of same.

    Develop goals and objectives specific to program or service.

    Program development specific to program or service and reflective of its established goals and objectives.

    Evaluation of program efficiency and effectiveness.  Approve staffing patterns and attend clinical staffing.

    Monitor financial and clinical aspect of grants.

    Direct involvement with Haymarket Center systems development

    External marketing of managed programs and Haymarket Center overall.

    Networking and public relations.

    Provide monthly report to the Director of Clinical Services that is reflective of each managed program or service's activities in addition to other written reports that may be requested or required.

    Assist in fund seeking activities and grant preparation.

    Facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups as needed.

    Advocate for Haymarket Center in the substance abuse field.

    Conduct secondary/tertiary interview with job applicants and present recommendations for hire to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

    Seeks supervision as appropriate and necessary.

    Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Master's Degree or equivalent.  Clinical licensure, CADC preferred.

    Minimum of one year of management experience and three years in the field of substance abuse.

    Knowledge and ability to perform clinical supervisory functions.

    Knowledge of family-based treatment and evidence-based interventions.

    Knowledge of area funding sources and experience in report writing.

    Effective communication ability.
