ICB & ICRC Computer Based Testing Set to Launch
ICB will finish out the year offering the Illinois State Specific exams and all other exams currently available through paper and pencil format. Beginning January 1, 2011 all exams will be computer based with the exception of the CARS, CRSS and SAP exam, which will only be offered on an as needed basis and will only be administered in Springfield. Just recently ICB converted to CBT for all ICRC exams. ICB utilizes ISO Quality Testing for all ICRC exams. Through this new format, testing candidates will be able to choose their exam date, location and will be able to receive his/her preliminary scores immediately following the completion of the exam. ICB is proud to be able to offer this more efficient and convenient process and even more, we are excited that we have the ability to save the association money without decreasing quality. ICB staff has worked very hard to assure a smooth transition to this new format and we will count on our testing candidates to provide us with their valuable feedback.

IAODAPCA is ready to launch the computer based testing format and will ultimately do away with all paper & pencil testing. This includes all ICRC exams. Currently IAODAPCA has been offering the CADC exam on computer and to our knowledge it has been a great convenience to testing candidates. Now, ICRC has established their CBT format and ICB is completely on board.
