Felicia Dudek Honored as IAODAPCA’s 2009 Professional of the Year

Each year IAODAPCA recognizes the accomplishments of a certain professional in the field, a professional who has stood out among the rest, a professional whose work has surpassed excellence in everyway and a professional with a heart of gold. This year at the IAODAPCA Spring Conference, Ms. Felicia Dudek was deemed just that person, IAODAPCA’s 2009 Professional of the Year. Ms. Dudek’s hard work and dedication is a valuable asset to this field and will continue to be admired for years to come. CONGRATULATIONS FELICIA!

Get to Know Felicia

Felicia Dudek is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Master Addiction Counselor. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of counseling and has been in private practice for over 20 years.

Ms. Dudek’s private practice consists of work with anxiety, depression, and marital/relationship issues. Work with employee assistance programs forms a major part of Ms. Dudek’s practice. She is a subcontractor for Bensinger, DuPont and Associates in Chicago and others in Minneapolis and Wisconsin. She provides all aspects of EAP services including assessment and referral, brief counseling, employee orientation and education, and supervisor training.

Ms. Dudek is also an educator and trainer. She is the former coordinator of addiction counselor training at National Louis University and is a frequent speaker and trainer both statewide and nationally. Currently she is a member of the  of the Training of Trainers team and the Training of Leaders project for IAODAPCA.

Clinical supervision and organizational consultation are other components of Ms. Dudek’s practice. She has both inpatient and outpatient treatment experience and has several published articles. She is a former President of the IAODAPCA Board of Directors.
