Workshop 26 "Leadership Principles for Addiction Treatment
Professionals" – Kenneth Osborne, MS Addiction Counseling,
CRADC
This presentation examines the concept of Leadership and its application
to addiction treatment professionals. Participants will explore
through didactic presentation and group didactic presentation and
group discussion the evolution of today’s addiction treatment professional,
the difference between Management and Leadership, the role that
gender plays in leading, and review the emotional intelligence dimensions
of leadership: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness
and relationship management.
