Maintenance of MISA Board Registration

IAODAPCA believes that the MISA Professional must be committed to ongoing personal and professional growth. This commitment stems from the MISA Professional's recognition of the necessity to offer the client the best and widest range of currently accepted treatment practices. The ever changing research findings (particularly in the areas of epidemiology, pharmacology, and ethnology) require constant attention.

1. Length of Board Registration

The MISA Professional's registration shall expire biennially on his or her anniversary unless the biennial fee and required Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are submitted.

2. Board Registration Maintenance

  1. Each MISA Professional is responsible for maintaining his or her own board registration. Each MISA Professional is individually responsible for doing the necessary work in regard to registration maintenance.

  2. Each MISA Professional will be notified that his or her registration is about to expire no fewer than 30 days prior to the actual date of expiration. It is imperative that the MISA Professional notify IAODAPCA in writing of any change of address or any other pertinent record information. A non-response to the biennial fee notice will result in termination.

  3. The MISA Professional is expected to pay a biennial fee.
