Section Title

Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)

Terminated Certification
CCJPs who:
  • have permitted 30 days to lapse beyond the expiration date of their certification and

  • have not filed an application for extension, or

  • have been granted an extension yet have failed to comply with the conditions of the extension by the deadline, or

  • have failed to notify IAODAPCA in writing of an address change resulting in an undeliverable biennial recertification notice.
must successfully complete the current certification requirements prior to reinstatement.

Notification Proceedure
ICB will give the CCJP written notice at least 30 days prior to expiration of certification.

ICB will notify the CCJP (seeking inactive status or renewal extension) of action on their respective requests within 30 days of request.

At the time of recertification, if certification is not maintained, it will be considered terminated and the CCJP will be so notified.

Process of Appeal
Applicants who are not awarded certification, and who disagree with the reasoning, may appeal. Appeals must be put in writing, addressed to the Executive Director of IAODAPCA.
