Female live in position. You must be clean and sober two years to be considred for the position. A criminal background does not exclude you; however, we cannot accept anyone with prior DUI's. You will receive free rent and utilities as well as a stipend commensurate with your experience. You will have the opportunity to interact with the Will County Drug Court Team as we work with our clients in this exciting new endeavor. Job Requirements

Position: Female Recovery Home Manager for the Will County Drug Court

Qualifications:
- Must live on premises and be in house overnight
- Single, no guests
- Minimum 2 years in recovery. Applicant must be substance free at all times.
- Applicant will be subject to random alcohol/drug testing
- Be willing to commit to living in the residence for one year
- Able to relate positively with people in recovery
- Familiarity with 12-step program and recovery terminology & concepts
- NCRS or CADC required or applicant must be able to obtain certification within two years

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must be on premises every night (Vacations and time off must be coordinated with staff)
- Manage the daily operations of the recovery home for up to six individuals in the drug court program
- Work directly with drug court staff and participate in weekly court staffing
- Conduct orientation of new residents
- Screen belongings and conduct drug/alcohol tests on residents
- Monitor resident activities and report them to drug court
- Enforce house rules. Examples: curfew, participation in 12-step meetings and house groups, house chores, and passes
- Conduct weekly community meetings and record minutes
- Assign and coordinate house chores and cleaning duties and inspect premises for cleanliness
- Facilitate resident discharge
- Follow emergency procedure in the event of an emergency
- Report any needed house maintenance to staff

Compensation:
- House manager will live in the home rent free and will have all utilities and house-related expenses paid
- There is no salary involved but a small stipend may be offered commensurate with experience and length of time in recovery

Please Note: This is NOT a county position. You will be working for the drug court in the capacity of an independent consultant. There are no benefits provided.
